A journey through time and space in a kaleidoscope of colours

Places Near and Far

Sumi’s collection of modern abstract art invites you to view the collective experience of time, space and the world as an illusion shaped by memory, perception, and projection.

Her work reflects a wide range of intellectual interests, including social history, geography, metaphysics, philosophy, mathematics, aesthetics and artificial intelligence.

The Iberian Collection explores enduring dualities—light and shadow, control and chaos, ritual and instinct—presenting the event as a living expression of cultural identity.

At the heart of the series is the ceremonial sport of the bullfight. It is interpreted not as spectacle alone, but as an indigenous art form and performance drawing from its Andalusian origins, which predate the arrival of the Celts, Romans, Levantines and Moors, as well as modern European integration into the European Union.
